LINDSAY LOHAN BIOGRAPHY AND PROFILE

LINDSAY LOHAN BIOGRAPHY AND PROFILE

Born Lindsay Dee Lohan on July 2, 1986, in New York City. Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, ran his family’s pasta business and worked as an investment banker. Her mother, Donata “Dina” Sullivan, was a Wall Street analyst. Lohan grew up in the wealthy Long Island suburbs of Cold Spring Harbor and Merrick.

Stints as a child model and commercial actress brought Lohan into the spotlight at the age of three. The star of more than 60 television spots and 100 print ads for clients like Toys ‘R Us and Duncan Hines helped Lohan land the film role of twin sisters in Disney’s 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. In the film, the sisters—one raised in England and the other in the U.S.—try to reunite their long-divorced parents, played by Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson. The movie performed well at the box office, making more than $92 million globally.

Lohan’s success resulted in more Disney film roles, including the remake Freaky Friday (2003) also starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Her next role with Disney, the pre-teen comedy, Confessions of Teenage Drama Queen (2004), brought mild success. But it was her starring role in Paramount’s film Mean Girls, written by comedian Tina Fey, that turned Lohan into a bona fide star. The movie recieved both popular and critical success; it became the 24th highest grossing movie of 2004 and earned Lohan a Teen’s Choice Award and an MTV movie award for her performance.

Lohan returned to Disney in 2005 to star in Herbie: Fully Loaded, the fifth film in the Herbie the racecar series. The film earned $144 million worldwide and marked the actress’ transition into more grown-up roles. in the meantime, Lohan also launched a music career. Thanks to her growing fan base, her first album, Speak, debuted in 2004 and hit platinum status. Her next album, A Little More Personal, hit stores in 2005 but didn’t fare as well. Neither did her next two films, Just My Luck and A Prairie Home Companion, which made it to the big screen in 2006 to mild box office sales.

As her celebrity status grew, so did Lohan’s attendance at New York nightclubs. Her wild party lifestyle made Lohan instant tabloid fodder in recent years, from her father’s prison scandals to rumors of her own struggles with bulimia. On May 26, 2007, Lohan was arrested after crashing her Mercedes-Benz crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills. She was arrested again July 24 in Santa Monica after she allegedly engaged in a car chase with the mother of her former personal assistant. In both cases, Lohan was found in possession of small amounts of cocaine, below the .05 grams required for the more serious felony charges of drug possession, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. After all her legal run-ins, Lohan was only charged with two counts each of driving under the influence, and a single count of reckless driving.

Tracie Rice, a woman who was a passenger in a car Lohan was accused of chasing on July 24, 2007, sued the star for assault and negligence. Lohan dodged felony charges when she reached a plea deal on misdemeanor drunken driving and cocaine charges on August 23. She got the minimum: four days in jail and credit for 24 hours already served. The sentence was then knocked down to one day in jail for doing 10 days of community service at a mortuary and in a hospital emergency room. That one day became 84 minutes because of overcrowding at the jail. Lohan turned herself in to the Los Angeles County women’s detention center in Lynwood. She was searched, fingerprinted and put in a holding cell in the inmate reception area. She got to stay in her street clothes. Officials denied she received special treatment.

Her sentence also included mandatory rehab. In August, Lohan checked into the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Sundance, Utah, her third stint in rehab in 2007. After checking out on October 5, she told OK! Magazine that the experience was “sobering and humbling” and her two main priorities are to stay sober and out of Los Angeles. True to her word, Lohan has kept a relatively low profile since the incident. She made headlines again in 2008, however, for revealing that she was in a long-term same-sex relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.

In May 2008, Lohan appeared as a gust star on the television sitcom Ugly Betty. Most recently, Lohan has completed work on the film Labor Pains, which is slated to hit the small screen in late 2009. She is also currently at work on a new album, which is set for release on the Motown record label.

Sexy siren Catherine Zeta-Jones is a wife, mother of two and a busy actress.  She thinks she still has many great things ahead for herself and she's not even reached her sexual peak.  Plus she might throw in some nudity.
Catherine talks about her career, and what her future holds in that aspect of her life and she hints that she might even be naked for her next movie role.
"Obviously, my career is expanding and I am a mother and so I'm not going to be rip-roaring in corsets playing a 19-year-old because I'm not, I'm 38-years-old.
"I'm actually really lucky and glad these other roles have come along and I can play a mother."
She however, isn't excluding sexy movie roles.
"In my next movie, which is an untitled movie at the moment, you'll be seeing a lot more of me, put it that way.
"I'm not going to be playing old grannies anytime soon.  You see, I haven't actually reached my sexiest point yet."
Zeta-Jones is currently promoting her new film Death Defying Acts, a fictional story about an invented affair that Harry Houdini had with a Scottish con woman who claimed she could help him contact his dead mother.  It's release date is March 13 in Australia, and will be out in South Korea, Brazil, Spain, and Russia at the end of April.  There's no US release date as of yet.

Catherine Elizabeth Kate Middleton Biography, Early Life And Wedding

 Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton Biography

Catherine Elizabeth "Kate" Middleton (born 9 January 1982) married to Prince William of Wales, elder son of Prince Charles, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

After her marriage, the official title of Miss Catherine Middleton is - Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge.

Early life Kate Middleton

Born at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Berkshire, England, Middleton is the elder daughter of self-made millionaire Michael Middleton (born 1949), who was an airline officer at the time of her birth, and his wife, the former Carole Goldsmith, who was an air hostess. Her parents now own Party Pieces, a mail order company that sells children's party paraphernalia. She has a younger sister, Philippa ("Pippa") and a younger brother, James.

Middleton was raised in Bucklebury, Berkshire, in the south of England. She went to St Andrew's School, Pangbourne until she was 13 and then attended the public school Marlborough College (the same school William's cousin Princess Eugenie of York attends), where she passed eleven GCSEs and three A-level exams. Like the Prince, Middleton was a student at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. She graduated in 2005 with a 2:1 (Upper Second-Class) MA (Hons) degree in History of Art.

In early 2006, it was rumoured that Middleton intended to found her own mail order company, selling high-end children's clothes. After a key investor stepped down, however, she decided to hold off on this plan. In November 2006, she accepted a position as an accessories buyer assistant with the British clothing chain Jigsaw.

Kate Middleton and Prince William

While attending the University of St Andrews in 2001, Middleton met Prince William of Wales. At the time, Middleton was already in her second year at St Andrews. Since around Christmas of 2003 she and Prince William have been involved in a relationship that has been subjected to intense media attention.

The couple were first seen publicly on a ski trip in Klosters in April 2004. During 2005, the British media began speculating that the Prince and Middleton would eventually become engaged.

Middleton's status as the girlfriend of Prince William brought widespread media coverage in the UK and abroad, and was often photographed on her daily outings. On 17 October 2005, she complained through her lawyer about harassment from the media, stating that, she had done nothing to court publicity. In December 2005, the German magazine Das Nee published photos of the exterior of Middleton's London flat, revealing its location in London. This prompted a security review by police amidst concerns for her safety and a report in the London Evening Standard that Prince William was considering going to the European Court of Human Rights over concerns for Middleton's and his own privacy.

In February 2006, it was announced that Middleton would receive her own 24-hour security detail supplied by the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Department. This fuelled further speculation that she and Prince William would soon be engaged, since she would not, otherwise, be entitled to this service. No engagement occurred, and Middleton was not granted an allowance to fund this security.

In 2007, the couple briefly split after struggling to find time as Prince William pursued his army career. However, they soon came back together.

Engagement of Kate Middleton and Prince William

On 16th November, 2010, Kate Middleton and Prince William announced their plans to marry in the new year.

Announcing their engagement Prince William said: "The timing is right now, we are both very, very happy." Miss Middleton added that joining the Royal Family was a "daunting prospect" but said: "Hopefully I'll take it in my stride."

Kate Middleton and Prince William were married on Friday 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey, London. Catherine Middleton wore a dress designed by Sarah Burton. The dress was ivory gown with lace applique floral detail and an intricate train measuring two metres 70 centimetres. Her tiara was a little known 1936 Cartier "halo". It was loaned to her by the present Queen, a tradition for Royal Weddings.

On the morning of the wedding, the Queen gave a new title to her son, Prince William - The Duke of Cambridge. They have also been given the Scottish titles of Earl and Countess of Strathearn. The couples third title is a Northern Irish one, Baron and Baroness Carrickfergus.

The official title for Miss Catherine Middleton on her marriage is Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge.

After the wedding, the couple intend to continue residing on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.
